SPLATFESTS
Splatfests are regular limited time events in Splatoon where players pick a side to support in Turf Wars, supported by one of the game's idols! Whichever team gets the most points from victories in Turf Wars wins! and the side they support is deemed legally superior (sometimes)
Each game region (Japan, America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Hong Kong/Taiwan/South Korea) have their own Splatfests, so resulte might differ by region, and some regions get different options than others
The result of the last splatfest has a major impact on the direction of the following game
At the end of each game's splatfest run, there's one that decides the direction of the sequel: Callie vs Marie, Order vs Chaos...
